Police opened fire at notorious offender in Hyderabad
Nalgonda police shot a notorious property offender, Bhusmi Srikanth, in the leg near Hyderabad's Outer Ring Road late Tuesday. Srikanth, wanted in over 30 cases across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, attacked officers with a knife and stick while attempting to evade arrest. He sustained a bullet injury to his left leg and is receiving medical treatment. A head constable also suffered an injury during the confrontation.
